The Blessing of Sorrow

The human heart cannot abide sorrow for very long, because like a bird that lites on the branch of a tree, the heart is geared for the joy of flight, expansion and transition into greater and greater life.

Sorrow and grief as a blessingIn the Blessing Of Sorrow is in a powerful release of tension and the recognition of the natural rhythm of existence.

The heart is blessed with outstretched wings that glide within the currents of God’s Breath.

The cleansing salty tears bring, the wrenching howls that ring in the night, Allow those wings to flap until there is enough momentum gained to lift off in flight.

There is power in sorrow; a blessing of relief and the promise of heights yet to come.

Unfettered, Fly free from the pain of holding onto that which has changed form – bless the moments shared in appreciation of life as it was, as it is now and as it can be.

Growth and expansion are blessings that constantly show up in every moment of our day. As I practice living in my Blessing Consciousness, I allow the flow of my perceptions to find its perfect level, again and again and again. If there should appear to be a boulder that seems to stop this wonderful flow, I stand in front of it and marvel at its beauty. I bless the composition and the color of it. I reach out to experience the feel of it. Pretty soon, as blessings tend to do, I notice something new that causes me to turn and look in another direction.  And as I do I notice another path that looks much more interesting and beckons me in. I Bless My World and My World Blesses Me.

Activating Joy Practicing the frequency of Joy and Well-Being as an important part of our day. The waking hours of our day are powerful and can set the tone and mood for the hours ahead. I have found it beneficial to begin by appreciating my breath.

“It feels so good to feel my breath and know that even though I have slumbered the night away my breath continued to breathe me. I so appreciate the well-being of my body consciousness making sure every cell is firing at just the right speed bringing balance and harmony to every part of me. I am blessed and I feel the blessing of the breath of All That Is within me. As I follow my breath there is an upliftment within that wants to flow, an excitement brewing of the moments to come. I know all is well as I am activated with new energy. I know my day will be wonderful. I can handle anything. The blessing of life is before me in all forms and I appreciate my ability to be in alignment with it.”

When we align with the positive feelings associated with joy, we move toward activating the joy with which we were made. In so doing we activate our higher brain, the pre-frontal cortex which in turn brings us into a good feeling place. If practiced regularly the higher frequencies begin to attract higher vibrational experiences. Joy is let loose on the world, egads I want to be in the front seat don’t you?

  The blessing of Love is like a symphony of a waterfall evoking feelings of participation, creation, dissolution and soaring joy. Love is the blessing of life woven within the fabric of being. This cloth is alive filled with anticipation, expectation ringing the bells of my heart. Wake up to your dreams. Wake up to your desires. Revel in your manifestation of Life and allow those blessings to uplift and carry you forever forward.

  Today is the double infinity, 8 8 and the year 11, which is a master builder number. I am riding the energy of this magic carpet day to align, and align and align with the blessings of who I Am, LOVE.

Deliberately Debt-Free

Not long ago, while doing research about how the brain works, I learned that when we think about the idea of debt it actually triggers the reptilian brain that is geared for survival. This ancient part of us is our worker-brain that can become obsessive, overwhelming all of our thoughts, when something real or imaginary threatens to harm us. When we are in debt, we are in survival mode.

 

The limbic brain is in charge of emotional response to life, for example, the idea of debt.  The reptilian and limbic parts of the brain work in tandem often accessing old patterns of fight or flight. This tried and true pattern will replay until we become consciousness enough to take control of the only thing we can control–how we feel about something. The frontal lobe of the brain contains something called the pre-frontal cortex, which
we are discovering is the higher conscious part of the brain. The pre-frontal cortex lies directly between the eyebrows in the very front of the brain, precisely where the “third-eye” is located. The pre-frontal cortex is of significance because this is the part of the brain that Activates Joy, confidence and compassion, in other words this is the place that holds the key to be-ing completely debt-free.

 

Over this past year I completed the writing of my first book and Activate Joy was published. It took precisely eleven months from the first words to the completion of the finished product. However, it also took ten years for me to finally value who I am enough to allow my dream of writing and being published to manifest. During those years I accrued mountains of debt through doubts, second-guessing and worry about my financial commitments. That debt did slow down my progress, but when I deliberately chose to accept that the universe is always offering me abundance and success, I also decided to cooperate with my higher self and just let it happen.

I discovered the secret of taming the survival part of my mind and being truly debt-free: Bless Everything Condemn Nothing. I discovered that each time I created an emotional debt that financial debt often followed. So, to start the process of becoming deliberately debt-free, you start with something that you can control right now, and that is how you feel. Here is how you do that:

When you wake up, before you get out of bed, starting off the day by blessing your bed and the soft sheets you are laying on or the comfy blanket you love. Bless the air you are breathing aligning with the wonderful life before you. Taking time to appreciate every little thing you can in that moment throughout the day. As you do these things you activate your pre-frontal cortex and begin to feel happier. Things will look as if they are going to work out and there is joy in the air.

As you practice that simple exercise you are doing great things for yourself because you are entraining your brain into higher consciousness, and creating new neuro-pathways so you can be free from old patterns—debt-free!

Now, know that life will show you something to condemn fairly soon. As soon as you find yourself condemning acknowledge that your are at a choice-point  and can choose to bless instead of condemn. If I condemn something I am finding fault, complaining, dismissing, and if I don’t stop those thoughts can escalate into anger and activate fight or flight. Condemning can become obsessive negative thinking creating debt, debt, debt. Condemning is making excuses to continue thinking those negative thoughts. Condemning makes a case that you know what is best for others and want them to do it your way and when they don’t you find more to condemn.

Focus your attention on the idea of debt and the economy for a moment. How many hours or days could you be lost in thinking about something you can do nothing about? Softly look at the projection from your thoughts and emotions to your perception of the world around you. Feel the choice point here. “If I continually align with the frenzy of those outside of me on the subject of debt, I feel powerless, swept away by the tide of fear for survival.”

To become deliberately debt free we choose to deliberately activate the pre-frontal cortex, which holds the Joy Factor. Make a choice to control your feelings about the situation. Bless the situation and watch how fast your perception changes. You might say something like, “Now listen to that, boy people are really getting worked up. I know they know what they are doing. I can’t do anything about any of this right now so I think I’ll water my plants. I’ll bless the cute little leaves and feel the joy of a bud about to open and show me its bloom. I just love my little plants and feel them loving me back. Everything will be all right. I have lived for a few years now and I notice that things have a way of getting better. It won’t help anything for me to join their drama so I will bless them and know all is well.”

Deliberately Debt Free is a personal choice that leads to the high road of success and delivers joy in everything you do. Take a little time for you and just for one day journal about all the things that make you feel joy. Make it a habit to choose to bless your day the moment you wake up. Pay attention to times when you start to condemn, listen to yourself, feel how it makes you feel. Now deliberately choose a better feeling, choose to bless that which you are condemning and turn your body, your thoughts and your feelings into a blessing.

Blessing Of The Week 8/1/11

I am blessed by my ability and heightened awareness through which I deliberately make the choice to be debt free today. I am blessed to know Joy. I am blessed to be able to feel the sparkle of waking up in any moment from my day and seeing something to share my smile with. I am blessed by my determination to seek out happy thoughts that provoke the blooming of my creative genius.

And I revel in the amazing visions that are shown to me. Should a doubt filled thought arise that I know will incur debt, I know that if I should I follow that trail it will surely take me down a rabbit hole, so I deliberately turn my thoughts, my body, my steps, my eyes in the direction of my blessed flower and bless every petal, the shades of color, the tone of its light and how my breath affects it. To be debt free is to allow happiness to lead the way no matter what.
